In the viceregal and post-viceregal times, it represented a site with one of the most important economic activities in Mexico because of its richness of gold and silver. When this ended it turned into a ghost town. Travel back in time by passing through the Tunnel of Ogarrio, a 2-kilometer hand-made construction.
