Real de Catorce

A place forged by miners that also takes on great importance for the wixárika culture as a sacred ground.

DESCRIPTION

A place forged by miners that also takes on great importance for the wixárika culture as a sacred ground. In the viceregal and post-viceregal times, it represented a site with one of the most important economic activities in Mexico because of its richness of gold and silver. When this ended it turned into a ghost town. Travel back in time by passing through the Tunnel of Ogarrio, a 2-kilometer hand-made construction. Walk its cobbled streets, the cockfight arena, the bullring and enjoy horseback riding and 4×4 willys while taking the best photographs of its unbeatable landscapes.
