DESCRIPTION

It is a town nestled in the sierra of the southern region of Huasteca. Its main square is governed by the presence of the former Augustinian convent, the oldest building in San Luis Potosí built in 1557 by missionaries of that same order. Currently, the second Leonora Carrington State Museum, the main female artist of surrealism has been incorporated into its attractions, which joins the emblematic Edward James Sculpture Garden, with a unique architecture established in the middle of the jungle.
